LA MASSANA / LOCATION: NORTHWEST PART OF ANDORRA

MIRADOR DE NAGOL / LOCATION: PARISH OF SAINT JULIA DE LORIA

(Sant Julià de Lòria): A free, 24/7 viewpoint with minimal light pollution and facilities for picnics, high altitude (1,145+ m), minimal light pollution, and panoramic views of the Pyrenees

ORDINO / LOCATION: PYRENEES MOUNTAINS, ALTITUDE OF APROX. 1,298 METERS, 9 km FROM THE CAPITAL

With average elevation of nearly 2,000 meters and low population density, Ordino provides a pristine "canvas" for viewing the night sky, often rated for its excellent visibility.

HIGHLIGHT: Mirador Solar de Tristaina (2,701 meters) offers a 360°, unobstructed view over the Tristaina glacial cirque.

ENGOLASTERS LAKE / LOCATION: ENACAMP PARISH, elevation - 1,616 meters

Accessibility: The lake is easily accessible by car or by taking the free bus service to the area.

  • Location: While the dam area provides good vantage points, venturing into the surrounding forest area or walking the paths around the lake can provide even darker spots.

  • Facilities: There are restaurants nearby but the area is mostly known for its untouched natural feel.
